Signups will take place for the Triunfo YMCA summer flag football league Wednesday, May 8 from 4:00 p.m. to 7 :00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 19 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Chumash Park (5550 Medea Valley Dr. Agoura Hills). A skills assessment will be held for all new players. Games begin Saturday, June 1.
The eight-game league includes four divisions for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade: kindergarten-first grade, second-third grades, fourth-fifth grades and sixth through eighth grades. The semi-competitive, co-ed league develops athletic, sportsmanship and teamwork skills while kids have fun and make new friends. Practices are local and games are played on Saturdays.
Each participant receives a uniform and trophy. The cost is $140 plus a $40 membership fee for YMCA nonmembers.
