Westlake Village Art Guild presents world-renowned equine artist Fred Stone

The Westlake Village Art Guild (WVAG) dinner meeting on May 7, 2013 will feature a slide presentation by the world-renowned equine artist Fred Stone.  A long-time resident of Old Agoura in Agoura Hills, he has been named by the Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune as the most famous painter of horses in the world.  His work hangs in the homes of some of the world's most notable people, including Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the White House office of former President George W. Bush. His large murals adorn the walls of many major race tracks, hotels, homes, and casinos throughout North America and Europe, including Moscow, Russia.  His mural, “Longchamp-Paris,” the world's largest equine mural, can be seen in the Paris Hotel, Las Vegas.  He has been featured on NBC, ABC, and ESPN television.  Additionally, he is a major philanthropist, having raised large sums of money for numerous causes.  The presentation will take place at Los Robles Greens West Ballroom, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks, CA, 91361.  The doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner is served at 6:00 p.m., and the slide presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. concluding at 9:00 p.m.  The all-inclusive price is $25 for WVAG members and $30 for Guests.  For reservations, call (805) 379-5655.
