WhatCanWe.org to Host Wags and Wine: A Photo-Shoot Fund-Raiser Held at J. Hamilton Wines

Wags and Wines equals fun times at J. Hamilton Wines! WhatCanWe.org™ will be hosting a photo-shoot fund-raiser event on May 11th, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at J. Hamilton Wines in Westlake Village for their cookbook Kitchen Rescues: Recipes for People and Their Pets. WhatCanWe.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising funds and awareness to assist licensed, nonprofit animal rescues with veterinary care.

The event is open to the public with a minimum $100 donation, which will include a professional photo of the participant and their pet, their own personal recipe of their choice to add, and a few words of their own to put in the caption along with complimentary wine tasting courtesy of J. Hamilton Wines. Appetizers will also be provided by Landing Grill & Sushi Bar, and Cisco’s Mexican Restaurant.

“Kitchen Rescues” is a great way for the community to aid WhatCanWe.org in enabling licensed rescues to save more animals by offsetting the steep veterinary expenses they accrue on a daily basis. This event is for animal lovers, wine lovers, photo enthusiasts, foodies, and anyone else who wants to support this generous cause.

“We believe rescue groups and rescued animals deserve access to quality veterinary care at low or no cost to them,” said Beth Pattee, co-founder of WhatCanWe.org.  “This cookbook, our major fundraiser for 2013, will provide critical funds for rescues enabling them to save more animals from euthanasia. “

Interested Participants can book their photo session by calling 818.292.5837.
