Thousands of visitors came to Agoura Hills over the weekend to join residents for the 11th annual Reyes Adobe Days (RAD) free weekend festival. “This is what keeps Agoura Hills’s small town feel,” said Agoura Hills Mayor Illece Buckley Weber during the parade awards ceremony. “It’s everyone being involved with events like this.”
The festival, centered at the city’s Reyes Adobe Historical Site, featured a 4-day weekend of activities—senior fiesta, art night with wine tasting under the stars, certified runs, free weekend family festival, and gymkhana. Over 300 volunteers helped put on the festival.
Actor Corey Fogelmanis, best known for his role playing Farkle Minkus on Disney’s “Girl Meets World” served as this year’s RAD’s Grand Marshal, leading the parade that kick off weekend festivities. He spent the afternoon at the festival, meeting excited fans, signing autographs and posing for pics.

Featured artist Michael Cook aka “Cookie” set up a street art live demonstration that lined the adobe grounds. He shared painting technique tips with interested patrons while painting his iconic urban art Gutter Mouth character. “I love being out here so people can get to know me and know why I got the name Cookie,” said the 28-year-old artist who acquired the name as a tot for his energetic and playful nature. His work, along with other artists, were on display in the art gallery. The opening reception on Friday night included a beer and wine tasting with catered food from several local restaurants and live Irish music with a bit of stomping under the stars.
Over the weekend, families enjoyed experiencing rancho life of the 1800s. Kids took on an activity scavenger hunt with a pony ride, petting zoo, fiddling, corn grinding, craft projects and old-fashioned games. Adults enjoyed more modern day fun in the Farmhouse Tent with artisan brew pub and shopping boutique, plus live bands performing throughout the weekend. On museum tours inside the adobe docents told the story of the Reyes family who owned the rancho from 1845 to the early 1900s.
