Little House at the Library
As part of the Agoura's One City, One Book celebration, the library will feature stories by Laura Ingalls Wilder on Saturday.

Agoura's One City, One Book celebration will present A Day With Laura Ingalls Wilder at the on Saturday at 2 p.m. Each year the City of Agoura Hills selects one book as a centerpiece for promoting reading in our community. For the adults, that book is True Grit by Charles Portis, and for the children, it's Little House on the Prairie," said Mayor Harry Schwarz.
Ms. Wilder, portrayed by actress Judith Helter, will entertain families by recounting true stories from the writings of Laura Ingalls Wilder, both as a child and later in life, said Grace Bernard, Youth Services Librarian.
"[Helter] is known as a living history performer," said Bernard. "So she never breaks character, even when responding to questions from the audience."
