AGOURA HILLS, CA — The Agoura Hills City Council will consider appointing current Assistant City Manager Nathan Hamburger as the new city manager.

On Friday, the city announced that the Council would vote on Hamburger’s appointment during its Wednesday meeting. If appointed, Hamburger, who has served as assistant city manager since 2006, would replace Greg Ramirez, who left in May after accepting a job as city manager for Camarillo.

Hamburger has worked for the city of Agoura Hills since 2006 and was appointed assistant city manager the following year, according to a city news release. He currently manages a number of city affairs, from budget oversight to information technology to economic development, among many others.
