For anyone who loves a good mystery, I highly recommend these two outstanding series: THE BLETCHLEY CIRCLE and MASTERPIECE MYSTERY: ENDEAVOUR SERIES 1. Bletchley airs tonight and is a repeat of the highly succesful 3 part series. Fortunately PBS is airing all three parts back-to-back starting tonight at 9:00 on KOCE. Even if you watched it the first time, it's worth a repeat. Endeavour premieres tomorrow night on PBS at 9 p.m. (on 4 consecutive Sunday nights, check local listings).
THE BLETCHLEY CIRCLE: With an extraordinary flair for code breaking and razor-sharp intelligence skills, four seemingly ordinary women become the unlikely investigators of a string of grisly murders in this original thriller, set against the backdrop of post-war London.
It’s 1951 and Susan, played by two-time BAFTA award-winner Anna Maxwell Martin, Millie (Rachael Stirling, Women in Love), Lucy (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art graduate Sophie Rundle) and Jean (Julie Graham, William & Mary, Survivors) have returned to post-war domesticity, modestly setting aside the part they played in the Allied victory. Their brilliant work at top security HQ Bletchley Park helped crack the codes used by the German military, producing crucial intelligence that shortened the war.

ENDEAVOUR SERIES 1:
The lead character of PBS’s Inspector Morse died of a heart attack in the final episode in 2000, and this new series is a prequel to the wildly popular British detective series. According to the producers there was so much potential for a back story with Morse because he never revealed anything, so they have wisely set the new series in the 1960s while Morse is still a lowly constable. Over the next four episodes Morse will solve several murders and the audience will see how he came into his own as a detective and to eventually become "Inspector" Morse. The series of 4 films was so successful in the UK that they have commissioned a second season, so fans should be delighted.
