Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park General Manager Receives Patriotic Service Award

The Military Order of the World Wars honored Tamara Eacker, general manager at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park with its Patriotic Service Award during the Red, White and Blue Ball at the Reagan Library Presidential Library. The award recognizes Ms. Eacker’s dedication and patriot service for our veterans and the community as a whole.

“We’ve worked with Tammy for six years. It was time that we recognized her for her patriotism and the dedicated service she provides to our community,” said Jerry Knotts, Colonel, USAF (Ret), Commander, Conejo Valley Chapter of The Military Order of the World Wars. “It was an honor to present the award to her as her leadership and selfless service has been an inspiration to all of us over the years.”

The Military Order of the World Wars is a national patriotic organization of American Military Officers, Warrant Officers, Flight Officers and their descendants of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, and the United States Public Health Service. It includes active, reserve component, retired or former service members. The purpose of the Order, then and now, is to promote patriotism, civic responsibility and leadership.
