RCS' Insanity, Mach 1 and G Force Carnival Rides Return to This Year's Conejo Valley Days

Insanity, Mach 1 and G Force are just some of the mega rides at this year's Conejo Valley Days, May 11 through 15, in Thousand Oaks.

Insanity, Mach 1 and G Force are just some of the mega rides at this year’s Conejo Valley Days, May 11 through 15, at Conejo Creek Park South (Janss Road exit, Thousand Oaks).

A new ride this year is Twister, which gives riders the sensation of being in a little bit out-of-control racecar. Also new is the 80’ tall Century Wheel, offering riders a bird’s eye view of the Conejo Valley. “The mega rides may not be for everyone, so we’ve made sure there are tons of other rides for all ages,” says Chris Lopez, vice president of RCS, CVD’s carnival operator for the third year. “We love bringing our newest and best rides to Conejo Valley Days and the partnership we have with the community.”

CVD will have a new layout this year—with the largest rides located in the parking lot adjacent to the rest of the festival.

Unlimited ride wristbands are available for Thursday, May 12 and Sunday May 15 for $40. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade can receive three free ride tickets by reading three books and having their parents and teacher (or a Thousand Oaks Library librarian) sign a completed form available at http://www.conejovalleydays.us/read.

The Pets Central Education and Welfare Foundation is the nonprofit partner for this year’s Conejo Valley Days. In addition, more than 30 local nonprofit groups participate in CVD each year, raising money that is invested back into the community.
