The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools Kicks off Annual Appeal

The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools announced Wednesday that it’s launching its annual appeal.

By raising funds through community partnerships, special events and annual fundraising appeals, The Foundation makes it possible to add additional classroom teachers and counselors to our schools' rosters, according to a news release.

Donations to The Foundation will also help fund more counselors, the “unsung heroes of education,” according to the release. Counselors provide students with guidance on class selection and college preparation. They also serve a vital role in helping our students feel safe, supported and connected to their school.
