2 Vehicles Roll Over On Snowy Malibu Roads

One car flipped over and another rolled off Kanan Dume Road on Saturday, California Highway Patrol reported.

MALIBU, CA — A wintry mix of snow, hail and rain caused two vehicle rollovers on Saturday.

At 11:25 a.m., a sedan drove over the side of the road on Kanan Dume Road near Newton Canyon in Malibu. The vehicle went 60 feet over the side of the embarkment, and one person was airlifted to by helicopter to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Just after 3:30 p.m., a Jeep overturned on Malibu Canyon Road, near the tunnel. There were no injuries, and the vehicle was cleared shortly after, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The Lost Hills Sheriff's Station posted about the two incidents on Saturday, imploring a populace unaccustomed to snow to drive extra carefully.
