Westlake Baseball 6U All Stars Advance to Regionals!

The message was clear…”Great players play great in big games!”  Those were the words that Head Coach, Don Maclean, had every player and family member of the 6U Westlake Baseball All Star team thinking about on the eve of the biggest game of the season yet.  One game….one opportunity…one chance to write our own story in the Section tournament history books.  It was very simple…WIN and move onto Regionals as the Section champs, or lose and go home.

And with everything on the line, for all the marbles, the Westlake All Stars took the advice of their coach and stepped up to play great and claim the Section title, solidifying a birth into Regionals.

On Saturday, Westlake faces two formidable foes in Hart and Agoura, but the boys are up for the challenge.  Afterall, if it isn’t hard, it’s not worth getting!
