Two (2) Unique, Exciting, Hands-on Building Activities Together for a Full Day
Sponsored by the BOYS & GIRLS CLUB of GREATER CONEJO VALLEY and
will be located at the Cal & Marje Johnston Club on the Colina Middle School campus in Thousand Oaks. The WOODWORKING Class is from 9:00am to 12:00noon and the ROBOTICS Hands-on STEM Class is 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

The WOODWORKING Woodshop & the ROBOTICS Hands-on STEM Program are Two (2) Curriculum that are the perfect activity for Boys & Girls to experience both the design, creation and construction of their own wood models and structures as well as the design, creation and building of robots, robotic vehicles, robotic creatures & BattleBots. WOODWORKING helps develop small motor skills, coordination and confidence, the ability to concentrate and safety techniques learning the use of tools, safety, measurement and workmanship as well as follow directions and thinking for themselves.
ROBOTICS offers the Boys & Girls in attendance unique Tasks, Challenges & Time-Trials with the Builds based on numerous applications of Math & Science with Individual, Team & Group situations using California & National Science Standards.

The Registration includes BOTH the Project they build in WOODWORKING and a Motorized Kit from ROBOTICS, the Material Fees from both Programs, a Certificate of Achievement for completion of the Day's activities and a Full Year's Membership in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley.
