45th Annual Christmas Tree Pickup

On Jan. 7th, Scouts from Alameda Troop 11 will fan out across Alameda & Bay Farm to collect and recycle christmas trees

A Troop 11 Fundraiser Since 1972!

Started in 1972 as an Eagle project, by Hal Zecher Jr., the Annual Christmas Tree Pickup has become an Alameda tradition. On January 7th, 2017, our Scouts will span the island (including Bay Farm) to collect Christmas Trees for recycling. Supplementing the efforts of Alameda County Industries, trees recycled through Troop 11 are returned to Alameda as mulch from Alameda Point Collaborative.

Help support Alameda Troop 11 in providing life skills for Alameda’s youth! Tickets can be purchased starting at only $5 per tree (how’s that for traditional pricing?) by clicking http://www.troop11alameda.com/tree-pickup.html using PayPal or Credit/Debit card. You can also call our Christmas Tree Hotline at 510-409-3141 and we will arrange for a personal ticket delivered by one of our scouts paid with cash or check.
