Alameda Creek Trail End: Photos Of The Day

ALAMEDA, CA — The weather has been all over the place in the Bay Area as of late, so when it's possible to go outside without feeling like you're in Atlantis, it's a good opportunity to visit some nature.

You might even bump into a bird or two, as Kuljit Jagpal did while walking along the Alameda Creek Trail.

My favorite part of these photos is the textures of the surrounding environment. The ground in the final picture, for example, clashes with the patterns formed by the water and the smoothness of the hills in the distance. It makes for a photo you can't take your eyes off.
