The Alameda High girls basketball team plays its first game this evening in the Northern California playoffs.
The 11th ranked Hornets travel to Stockton to take on sixth ranked McNair High School.
The game begins at 7 p.m.

McNair High is 26-4. The Eagles lost in the semifinals of the San Joaquin section playoffs to Florin High.
