Alameda High Vying for $100,000 Grant, Asks Drivers to Commit to Safe Driving

'Celebrate My Drive' powered by State Farm encourages safe driving with a chance to win grant, private concert by The Band Perry.

Alameda High School staff and students are committed to keeping teens safe on the road. They are asking everyone 14 and older to go to www.CelebrateMyDrive.com once a day, every day, from Oct. 15 to Oct. 24 to make the commitment. The more safe driving commitments our community makes, the better their chance to win a $100,000 grant and a private concert by The Band Perry.

Alameda High will be running their teen safe driving campaign at assemblies and community events. Learning to drive is a big step in life. Alameda High School and State Farm recognize getting a driver’s license is an important and joyous time. Celebrate My Drive celebrates this milestone with new drivers by encouraging them to make positive choices like driving 2N2®: 2 eyes on the road and 2 hands on the wheel.
