Alameda Kids Raise Money For Food Bank
The money will purchase perishable items for families.

ALAMEDA, CA — There must be some proud moms and dads in Alameda, who are working to raise community-minded children.
The Edison Elementary School community raised more than $5,400 for the Alameda Food Bank to help buy items that can't go in food drive barrels, such as meat, eggs, and farm-fresh produce.
The gift is especially useful, with more families seeking help because of coronavirus.
