Alameda Little League Summaries - April 21 through April 27

Major Division

Becker Media Giants 8  -  Neptune Beach Pearls Pirates 7 – March 9

Dallas Ryder, Patrick Robles and Tiron Lewis all homered for the Pirates. While Ronald Robertson hit a 2 run walkoff home run. The Giants played a competitive game.

EPE USA Nationals 4, Seelenbacher Jewelers 7 -April 15

Red Sox Jackson Saulovich doubled with an RBI. Estivido Ramirez and Ben Seelenbacher each received 2 RBI's. For the Nationals, Davis Stewart drove in two with a double, and Jarod Cheung added an RBI.  Alex Robles played excellent defense both in the infield and outfield.

 

Neptune Beach Pearl Pirates 10, Jim Bustos Plumbing Dodgers 9- April 24

For the Dodgers, George Chabre hit a 3 run home run, Kian van der Meer hit a single, AJ Ramsey had a single and scored. The Pirates played a great game.

 

AAA Division

 

Johnson & Jolley Orthodontics/Anabiosis CPR/First Aid Training Iron Pigs 8, Vator Express 0

April 23

For the Iron Pigs, Kory Choy and Justin Walker combined to pitch the one hit shut-out.  Mikey McNamee tripled and key hits from Ryan Chang, Brandon Gross and Luis Licea.  For the Express, Justin Blake hit a shot to right field for a single, and Owen DeCourcy made several big plays at shortstop.

 

Little House Stars 23 - Baskin Robbins & Littler Mendleson Rattlers 18 – April 23

Stars David Costa went 3-4 with 4 RBIs and Hector Duarte had an in-the-park homerun. Rahul Sharma tracked down a long fly ball in center. For the Rattlers Jason Cibull had an in-the-park grand slam and Niamh Mayhew caught a ball hit deep to left field.

 

AA Division

Alameda Natural Grocery Bees 17, Alameda Theatre Bulls 6 - April 19th

Bilal Abraham pitched two shutout innings. Chello Anderson Jr. and Miles Murphy led the offense with hot bats and speed on the base paths. Rex Weber led the Bulls offense. Sage Roy-Burman and Nathan King contributed with 3 put-outs each on defense.

 

Alameda Natural Grocery Bees 6, TMS Automotive Sea Dogs 5 - April 17th

Devin Kaneshiro led the Bees with clutch pitching during the late innings. He also scored the walk off, game winning run. OB Van Wijk and Dylan McGrew deterred runs with strong throws to home plate. The Sea Dogs played a competitive game.

 

TMS Auotomotive Sea Dogs 15, Jack's Bar & Restaurant's Thunder 3; April 19

Thunder's Kai Shimp had a single, 3 put outs and caught a fly. Jack Baker's double earned an RBI. Kevin Holmes hit a single. The Sea Dogs played a great game.

 

Shooting Stars Mud Hens 9, Scolari's Good Eats Bats 8 – April 21

For the Mud Hens, at pitcher Jeremiah Jackson threw out one runner and caught a pop foul. Key hits were provided by Dimitri Brown, Nolan Nguyen and Zachary Nordberg. The Bats offense was led by Walker Keating, Jonah Hammond and Subby Wolff Urzua. Defensively, the Bat's had excellent plays by Fionn Meagher and Jacey Canalin.

                                                                    

The Vicki Wang Orthodontics Storm 6, Torrey Pines Thunder 1 – April 23

The Thunder pitchers Kai Shimp and Landon Gee, each registered three strikeouts. Naji Love killed a 4th inning rally with a putout from shortstop. The Storm were led by Teru Khan who doubled twice and pitched two scoreless innings.  

 

A Division

Alameda Elks Lodge 1015 Muckdogs 9, Maureen Shandobil Harbor Bay Realty Raptors 2 – April 14

The Muckdogs Matthew Thornton went 3 for 3 with 3 RBI's while Cruz Kelly showed his glove skills at first base.  The Raptors were led on defense by Kyle Moe with 2 put-outs at 3rd and nice glove work by Fernando Lopez at shortstop.  Cole Aney and Ian Shaw showed off their power with back-to-back doubles.

 

King of Thai Noodle Tincaps 10, El Caballo Wraps Aeros 15 – April 16

Tincaps slugger Keanu Hennings hit 2 doubles. Archer Hilsabeck, Luca Danzi, Gaelen Dudley, and Turner Smith all notched 3 singles. For the Aeros, Yasser Ahmadozay, Pablo Vessali, and Zackary Williams had hits for RBIs.  Jennifer Proffitt recorded all three last outs in the 6th inning.

 

Alameda Elks Lodge 1015 Muckdogs 14, El Caballo Wraps Aeros 9 – April 19

The Muckdogs were led by great glove work by Miles Roorda while Jacob Hirano showed his power with a smash hit double. The Aeros Peyton Schlader and Spencer Franklin combined for a double play. Jack Borgh hit a double down the third base line to start a 3rd inning rally.

 

Neptune Beach Pearl Blue Claws 17, Parent’s Press Mets 5 - April 19

For the Blue Claws, Kyle Reed Rider earned a double and two singles. Mick Goddard made a great stop in right field. The Mets played a competitive game.

 

King of Thai Noodle House Tincaps 17, Parents' Press Mets 6. – April 23

Leadoff hitter Ryan paced the Tincaps by going 4-for-4 with four runs scored.  For the Mets, Amy Screechfield did a great job behind the plate, and Joshua LaFontaine went 3-for 3 and scored two runs.

 

King of Thai Noodle House Tin Caps 19, Kelly Lux Insurance Ironbirds 11 – April 24

Noah Klube went 3-for3 with a double, while Daniel Kinna scored two runs and dazzled at shortstop.

Tincaps player Liam Harvey hit 2 singles and scored 2 runs.  Marcus Finch went 3 for 3 and showed excellent defense at third base.

 

Claremont Behavioral Services Owlz 5, Parents' Press Mets 3 – April 26

For the Owlz, Xavian Picaso had a good hitting day and Zachary Patterson-Golay played great defense.  For the Mets, Edison Gould had a solid single and played good defense, and Christopher Wooten made a great play at third base.

 

King of Thai Noodle Tincaps 16, Maureen Shandobil Raptors Raptors 5  – April 26

For the Tincaps, Ziggy Mintz hit 2 singles and scored 2 runs.  Marcus Finch and Jack Carlisle both hit RBI doubles. For the Raptors, Ian Shaw made a nice catch on an infield pop-fly and Cole Aney almost hit one out of the park with a solid double.

 

Neptune Beach Pearl Blue Claws 19, Blue Dot Cafe Volcanoes 5 – April 26

Blue Claw Emmanuel Ezirim made a double play and Kyle Nguyen made key outs at second. Ryan Liu had four great hits. For the Volcanoes, James Witherspoon played a good game at third base while Jake Morgan and Andre Kong made solid defensive contributions.

 

Farm Division

Alameda Collision Repair Giants, TMS Automotive Yankees – April 27

Kailer Stone, Declan McMahon and Ciriaco Soto each made put outs. Lana Schullstrom made a base hit that brought two runners home. TMS Automotive Yankees Joaquin de Souza Lobo and Laith Owens made put outs. Khalil Carim hit well and scored twice.

 

T-Ball Division

Bladium Crossfit Braves, Torrey Pines Cardinals – April 13

For the Braves, Kance Tran, Emi Puertas, and Aubrey Grimes all scored home runs. For the Cardinals, Eliah Gutierrez hit a home run, John Cunningham had a great throw to first, and Sebastian Barber had a great hit.

 

Alameda Crossfit Braves vs Littler Mendelson Giants - April 27

For the Crossfit Braves, Gabriel Carr, Aubrie Grimes, Emilia Puertas, and Nathan Clarke all had scoring home runs.  For the Giants, Milo Chin, Fiona Connelly and Rafael Narensky had solid hits.
