6 Days til 44th Annual Christmas Tree Pickup
On Jan. 9th, Scouts from Alameda Troop 11 will fan out across Alameda/Bay Farm Collecting & Recycling Christmas Trees.

A Troop 11 Charity Fundraiser Since 1972!
Started in 1972 as an Eagle project, by Hal Zecher Jr., the Annual Christmas Tree Pickup has become an Alameda tradition. On January 9th, Scouts will span the island (including Bay Farm) to collect Christmas Trees for recycling. Supplementing the efforts of Alameda County Industries, trees recycled through Troop 11 are returned to Alameda as mulch for the Alameda Point Collaborative.
Help support Alameda Troop 11 in providing life skills for Alameda’s youth! Tickets can be purchased starting at only $5 per tree (how’s that for traditional pricing?) by clicking http://www.troop11alameda.com/tree-pickup.html
