Alameda Update On COVID-19 Rent Relief
The City encourages renters and landlords to apply for COVID-19 rent relief or check the status of the claims that have already been made.
ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda renters and landlords are encouraged to apply for COVID-19 rent relief at ac-housingsecure.org. Alameda residents have already received more than $6 million in funding for up to 15 months of rent and utility financial assistance. Alameda County will continue to accept applications as long as federal funds are available.
As of March 29, the rent relief program has received 13,658 applications. So, if you’ve already applied, please check your status online at ac-housingsecure.org or call 2-1-1. Please note that applications are still being processed and you will be contacted by an application coordinator as soon as your application has been selected for review.
