Alameda Utility Pole Maintenance Planned For March, April
Do you have a utility pole in your yard? You may have crews working on it. You can ask for ID.

ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) contractors will be out in the community in March and April to assess and maintain utility poles.
To maintain reliable electric service, workers from Intec Services, AMP’s pole maintenance contractor, will visually inspect poles, perform pole reinforcements, and in some cases, dig around the pole to straighten steel reinforcements. Pole reinforcements should not interrupt electric service.
Intec Services technicians will wear hard hats, safety vests, and carry Alameda Municipal Power contractor badges, which they will present upon request. In some neighborhoods, utility poles are located in backyards and technicians will need to gain access to customers’ property. Technicians do not need to enter customers’ homes.
