Amazing Alameda Mom Is 'Always Thinking Of Others'

ALAMEDA, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

Estrellita gives and gives and gives. Always thinking of others. True to her name, she is a "little star," with many drawn to her warmth and light but she lets others shine when she offers encouragement and praise. She is first to compliment and always leaves her lasting impression of joy. She takes pride in helping so many families with their financial futures. And simply is a beautiful Mom caring for her grown children and our kids, of all ages. Love you Estrellita! I am inspired by your grace, wisdom and strength! How you have positively affected the lives of many!

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She shies away from the spotlight, preferring rather to lift others ahead of her. It's time she be recognized for the beautiful friend, sister and Mom that she is!
