Alameda Municipal Power will host a free heating workshop on Nov. 16 to help residents stay warm and save energy at home this winter.

Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is hosting a free heating workshop on Nov. 16 to help you stay warm and save energy at home this winter. You'll come away from the workshop with retrofitting tips, inexpensive options for keeping warm, and an understanding of how heating works in your home.

Participants will also learn how to take advantage of home-improvement rebates. A representative from Energy Upgrade California will be available at the workshop to answer questions on rebates.
