Detectives Investigate Fatal Stabbing In Oakland

The victim was taken to a hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.

OAKLAND, CA — Police in Oakland are investigating a fatal stabbing over the weekend, the department said Monday.

On Saturday evening at about 6:45 p.m., officers were called to the 1700 block of East 19th Street on a report of a stabbing.

Officers discovered a person suffering from at least one stab wound and they were taken to the hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
