• Front Porches Become Live Music Stages for Alameda Porchfest (alamedapost.com) — Alameda neighbors will turn their front porches into live music stages this Sunday, Sept. 13, for the free, family-friendly Alameda Porchfest running noon to 6 p.m. Multiple "stages" across town, including Webster Park, will host local bands, and residents are encouraged to walk or bike, bring chairs and shade, and tip musicians while exploring nearby businesses.
