Alameda High School Symphonic Band Rocks Davies Symphony Hall

Alameda High School Symphonic band was invited to perform this Spring at Davies Symphony Hall for the Heritage Festival of Gold, after their superior performances in New York City last Spring.  Davies Symphony Hall set the stage for symphonic bands, wind and string ensembles, and choral groups to from all over the country to perform the encore concert, held on Monday evening, the 8th. 

The AHS Symphonic Band performed before judges on Monday afternoon.  Our musicians played three pieces and earned excellent ratings from the judges.  Several band members also played in a combined band with other musicians from around the country to open and conclude the Encore Concert that evening.
