Father Daughter Dance Limbo at the Luau

Fathers and daughters got together February 11 to a sold out event. This event, co-sponsored by the Alameda Recreation and Park Department and Girls Inc. of the Island City, was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the special relationship between daughters and fathers or other favorite male role models.

The Hawaiian theme brought out fathers in their Hawaiian shirts and girls in their grass skirts. Fathers and daughters attire included lays and sandals and the activities for the evening included:

  • MUSIC BY STRAWBERRY FIELDS DJ
  • LIMBO – For Adults Only
  • DANCING
  • ARTS & CRAFTS PROJECTS
  • HAWIAN MINI MEAL CATERED BY LL HAWIAN BARBECUE (MARINER SQUARE)
  • A SPECIAL MEMENTO FOR THE GIRLS
  • SPECIAL KEEPSAKE FOR THE GIRLS HAWIAN SHELL NECKLACE
