Alameda, CA [September 3, 2013] - The Berkeley Juggling and Unicycling Cooperative is hosting their 8th annual festival. Workshops will include juggling, unicycle rides, aerial arts, slacklining, spinning, hooping, and much more. All skill levels are welcome. The festival is free and will be held at the main gym at Alameda High School (2201 Encinal Ave, Alameda, CA) Friday Oct 4th 5pm - midnight, Saturday Oct 5th 9am – midnight, and Sunday Oct 6th 10am - 5pm.

The event also features “Art in Motion, A Circus Arts Show” at the Kofman Theatre (2200 Central Ave, Alameda, CA) on Saturday Oct 5th at 7:30pm (doors at 7pm) emceed by the legendary Jeff Raz. This is a benefit to provide funding for the Arts in education and medicine. Acts will include stars from Cirque du Soleil, Pickle Family Circus, Ringling Bros., and more. The Berkeley Juggling and Unicycling Cooperative is a nonprofit group of volunteers and enthusiasts who collaborate to bring a unique festival to the Bay Area each year dedicated teaching, entertaining, and supporting community arts programs.
