Bay Bridge At A Standstill

BAY AREA — A crash involving an overturned vehicle in the westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge near Treasure Island had all lanes of traffic stopped for a time, creating a monumental backup.

Lanes slowly reopened, with all lanes currently open again.

However, traffic is so congested that it will take a long time, during evening commute hours, to clear up.

If an alternate route is available, consider taking it.
