<p>It features yoga poses, Pilates-inspired core work, and cardio bursts like lunges and squats, all moving to music for an at-times intense yet flexible session suitable for all levels, with variations for beginners and specific body parts.</p>
<p>Props such as loop bands, weights, Pilates balls and massage balls are used.</p>

<p>The class starts with a slow flow that gradually transitions to yin yoga where each pose is held for 2-3 minutes, allowing for a deep release of tension in the body’s connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia.</p>
<p>The slow pace of the transitions, combined with the long-held poses, creates a space for introspection and relaxation, making it ideal for releasing both physical and emotional tension.</p>
<p>The focus is on cultivating a mindful connection to the breath and sensations in the body, allowing practitioners to deepen their awareness with each movement and breath and to resent their nervous system.</p>

Your donation helps us keep circus training accessible while honoring the creativity and leadership of underrepresented artists. This evening is offered as a sliding scale event so that finances are not a barrier to entry. Typically we charge $5 for entry and $10 for each trapeze swing.
