Calling All Photogenic Pets: FAAS Cutest Pet Photo Contest Going On Now!

Enter your dog, cat, bunny, turtle or bird in the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter's Cutest Pet Photo Contest!

Think your pet is the cutest? Prove it! Enter a photo of your dog, cat, bunny, turtle, bird, lizard or other adorable pet in the Cutest Pet Photo Contest going on now at the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS)!

To enter one or more photos, go to https://www.360photocontest.com/319. Photos must be in color and high resolution and show pets only (sorry, no humans in the shot). Once you’ve entered, share your photo’s link with friends and family and ask them to vote. It costs only $10 to enter a photo, and just $1 per vote. Entry hints: You can vote for your own photos, and you don’t have to live in Alameda to enter.

Thirteen lucky pets will be featured in the FAAS 2016 Cutest Pet Calendar. The four photos with the greatest number of votes, our fundraising winners, will be guaranteed spots on the calendar. The photo with the most votes will be featured on the cover. The remaining nine calendar spots will be decided by a panel of judges based on photo quality and originality. All qualifying entries will be featured in our online collage of contestants.

The calendar will become available in November, making it the perfect stocking stuffer for friends and family. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds from the photo contest and calendar sales will directly benefit the hundreds of pets FAAS rescues, shelters, and rehomes each year.

The contest closes midnight of Tuesday, Sept. 8, so don’t delay: Start looking through your favorite pet photos now or get out the camera and take some new ones and get those entries in! Who knows? Your pet just might be our next calendar boy or girl!
