The Alameda Housing Authority is collecting children's books for an onsite reading room. Fiction, nonfiction, magazines, LeapPads, flashcards and other reading materials are ALL welcome. <a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/toy-safari-alameda" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Toy Safari</a> (1410 Park Street) has graciously agreed to collect materials during their business hours. They can also be brought directly to the Housing Authority at 701 Atlantic Avenue on Fridays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Books and materials can be new and used (in good condition).
