Alameda Police Kick Off The Pink Patch Project Fundraiser
APD will sell pink shoulder patches and lapel pins for $10 to support breast cancer patients.

Starting today, and lasting through October, APD will be selling pink shoulder patches and lapel pins for $10. Cash only, please. All proceeds will be donated to the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation. HERS is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Fremont, CA, dedicated to providing post-surgical products and services to breast cancer patients.

To show our support, members of the Alameda Police Department will wear pink shoulder patches or lapel pins throughout October in hopes of sparking dialogue within the community about the importance of early detection and treatment in the fight against breast cancer.
