Virtual Storytimes Continue At Alameda Free Library

The Alameda Free Library will continue to offer new virtual storytimes and other children's programs on its YouTube Channel.

  • Mother Goose on the Loose, a structured program designed to engage babies, toddlers, and their favorite adults with rhymes, songs, and stories.
  • A new storytime for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2-5 includes fingerplays, songs, and stories and will be uploaded each Tuesday.
  • A new storytime for school-aged kids ages 4-8 includes longer stories and some non-fiction and will be uploaded every Wednesday.
  • The library will also continue its virtual programming for older children, including Storybook Crafts and First Chapter Fridays.
