"CLUE" THE PLAY PREMIERS TONIGHT!!!!

COME SEE ALAMEDA HIGH SCHOOL’S AMAZING FALL PLAY: CLUE!!!!

This year we are dong the play version of Paramount’s Feature Film, CLUE. The show runs Nov 7, 8, 13, 14, & 15 at 7pm, and Nov 9 at 2pm.

Tickets are available at the door or online at WWW.SHOWCLIX.COM for $7- Student and $10- General Admission. Friday, November 7th is Dress Up Night, so please come in your best 50’s gear! Box office opens an hour before the show!!! This show is rated PG and has some mature themes, but is appropriate for all ages.

CLUE SYNOPSIS:

In 1954 New England, against a backdrop of McCarthyism, six strangers are invited to a party at a secluded New England mansion. They are met by the house butler Wadsworth, who reminds them that they have been given pseudonyms to protect their true identity. During dinner, the seventh attendee, Mr. Boddy, arrives. After dinner, Wadsworth takes everyone to the study and reveals the true nature of the party: all of the guests are being blackmailed. Clue is a play about 6 guests, a butler, and a maid, who are all involved in the murders of 6 people. The guests all meet at Hill House, where you learn that Professor Plum works in D.C., where everyone else lives. Colonel Mustard is a client of Miss Scarlet, who is the ex-employer of Yvette, the maid, who had an affair with the husband of Mrs. White, etc. When Mr. Boddy, who is blackmailing each guest, gives the guests each a weapon, he tells them they should kill Wadsworth, the butler, to avoid being exposed. With Mrs. Peacock’s craziness, and Mr. Green’s clumsiness, the whole group finds themselves tangled in a web of murder, lies, and hilarity.
