Coming To The USS Hornet: Combo Cornhole Tourney & Beer Festival

Tickets are on sale for the 'Battlestar Classic' event on the flight deck of the battleship.

ALAMEDA, CA – The only event of its kind -- offering beer and cornhole aboard a highly decorated U.S. Navy ship -- the 3rd Annual Battlestar Classic: Craft Beer Festival and Cornhole Tournament is set for Saturday, Sept. 8 at the USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum in Alameda.

More than 20 breweries will join the Flight Deck event, which includes the cornhole tourney and and a Silent Disco with Bay Area DJs Manny and NIQ, organizers said.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is a USS Hornet museum fundraiser.

"Visitors can enjoy the craft beer, the Cornhole Tournament, the Silent Disco and the San Francisco skyline
while exploring the mighty USS Hornet and learn about her amazing contributions to American history," the museum said.

Tickets to the event are available online on Eventbrite, in person at Old Kan Beer and Co., Paulista Brazilian
Kitchen & Taproom, INC 82 Brewing, Shadow Puppet Brewing Co., Alameda Island Brewing Co.,
and The Rake at Admiral Maltings, or via the Museum’s website.
