On Saturday, October 24, families gathered for Coastline Christian Schools’ annual Trunk or Treat Family Fest, a free community celebration filled with candy, games, and fall fun for all ages. Hosted by Coastline Christian Schools, Bay Area Chinese Bible Church, and Tiny Treasures Preschool, the event welcomed families from near and far for an evening of safe, family-friendly festivities.
A highlight of the evening was more than 50 creatively decorated trunks, where children could walk from car to car collecting candy and treats. Beyond trick-or-treating, families enjoyed inflatables, games, a reptile petting zoo, food trucks, and interactive activities that gave children and parents plenty of ways to have fun together.
Creating a safe and welcoming environment for families is at the heart of Trunk or Treat Family Fest. The event offers a place for children to enjoy Halloween-season festivities in a family-friendly setting while giving parents an opportunity to connect with other families and the broader community.
Behind the scenes, the event was made possible by an incredible team of volunteers from Coastline Christian Schools, Bay Area Chinese Bible Church, and Tiny Treasures Preschool. Many Coastline alumni also returned to volunteer, a special reminder of the lasting connections built through the school community. Coastline families contributed as well, generously donating hundreds of pounds of candy and treats to help make the evening extra special for the children.
Now a much-loved annual tradition, Trunk or Treat Family Fest is about more than candy and costumes. It is an opportunity to bring people together, strengthen community relationships, and create joyful memories for families. Whether attending for the first time or returning year after year, guests are welcomed into an evening centered on connection, generosity, and fun.
Coastline Christian Schools, Bay Area Chinese Bible Church, and Tiny Treasures Preschool are grateful to everyone who helped make this year's celebration a success. From the trunk hosts and volunteers to the families who donated treats and joined in the fun, it was a wonderful example of what can happen when a community comes together. We look forward to welcoming families back next year!
