Concerts at the Cove Music Series Concludes This Friday
Proceeds go to the Rotary Club of Alameda's community grants program which gave out over $15,000 to local Alameda based nonprofits in 2014.

The 16th annual Concerts at the Cove music series concludes this Friday, August 14th beginning at 5:30 PMwith a distinctive local flavor. Home grown Soulstice will headline the show bringing its California Reggae sound to the meadow at the Crab Cove Visitors Center located at 1252 McKay Ave., Alameda. Alameda’s fiddling family The Barefoot Quales with Rory O’Neill are scheduled to play during intermission. Teo (9 yrs old) and Miles (11 yrs old) recently won awards at the prestigious National Old Time Fiddle Contest in Weiser, Idaho.
In addition to local music, food from Calafia Taqueria and Cafe Jolie will be available along with beverages from Rosemblum Cellars, R & B Cellars, Rock Wall Wine Company, Jeff Cohn Cellars, and Faction Brewing. Please no outside alcoholic beverages.

The Crab Cove Visitors Center will have special youth activities beginning at 4:30 PM., and local resident Alana Dill will offer facepainting for both kids and adults. Parking is available at Crown Memorial Beach located at the end of Otis Drive and free secure valet bike parking is provide by the Interact Club.
Concerts at the Cove is produced by The East Bay Regional Park District, the Regional Parks Foundation, and the Rotary Club of Alameda. All proceeds go to the Rotary Club of Alameda’s community grants program which gave out over $15,000 to local Alameda based nonprofits in 2014.
