Top Caribbean Comics to Gather in Alameda for Comedy Show

Caribbean comics Marc Trinidad, Crystal Ferrier and Jay Martin will be performing at the Michaan's Theater in Alameda this Saturday, October 21, for "Caribbean Comedy Explosion II," presented by Levy Promotional Products.

Attendees will experience a night of comedy with a large dose of Caribbean culture.

"These are amazing comedians who will make you laugh so hard that you'll cry," said Shorron Levy, CEO of Levy Promotional Products. "Those in attendance will be in for a memorable night. They'll be taking in a night of comedy, while experiencing our rich Caribbean culture."

CRYSTAL FERRIER: Super woman is an understatement. By day, Crystal Ferrier is a behavioral therapist. By night, she is an international actress, comedian, writer and producer. This funny mummy’s real-life, raw comedic personality is unforgettable and will captivate anyone who falls in her company. Some of her past memorable performances include Caroline’s on Broadway (NYC), The Comedy Store (India), YukYuks (Toronto) and Just for Laughs (Montreal)

JAY MARTIN: Born in Jamaica, Jay Martin was always the entertainer, cracking up school friends with his spot-on accent imitations — from mimicking his father to his East Indian neighbors. As fate would have it, one night, Canadian comic giant Russell Peters happened to be sitting in the audience and was immediately impressed with Jay’s first public performance ... so much so, that Peters decided to take Jay under his wing and invited him to open for him across the country — and, the rest, as the saying goes, is history.
Martin has toured with many giants since then, including, Jamie Foxx, Brian McKnight and Kirk Franklin.

MARK TRINIDAD: Comedy Giant, born and raised on the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago,
Marc Trinidad has a commanding persona, piercing eyes and the perfect humour that makes laugh your socks off. his is a typical comic’s story of being the class clown, fully equipped with wit and great non-verbal skills that lighten up any dull situation.
