ALAMEDA, CA — The chilly mornings this week make hot August days feel like a distant memory, but here's a reminder from Steve Gorman of what those days were like. He snapped a photo of this squirrel in his backyard tree "splooting" — stretching out its body to increase surface area and cool down.
