Daffodils Beside The Lagoon: Photos Of The Day

ALAMEDA, CA — Have you walked to the lagoon or driven past recently?

Lorraine Robles snapped some photos of the daffodils blooming nearby. "Photos don’t do them justice, as they are so vibrant in person," Robles told Patch. "A homeowner who lives close by had the idea to plant them to bring joy, beauty and surprise to everyone who walks by. It worked!

"As word got around, people are coming to see them and taking photos as I did yesterday. There are probably thousands lining the trail of the lagoon starting on Aughinbach to near the shoreline on Bay Farm. A must see to lift your spirit given today’s world issues."
