The AAPS will hold a forum on historic preservation issues for the Alameda City Council candidates. With continued deterioration of historic buildings at Alameda Point, proposed revisions to the Historic Preservation Ordinance and major planning efforts underway for Park Street north of Lincoln, AAPS would like to assist Alameda residents in learning each candidate’s views on preservation issues.

This forum is an opportunity for the public to hear candidates’ answers to your questions regarding preservation. Therefore, we are asking you to submit your questions to us in advance. AAPS will choose questions from those submitted to present to the candidates at the forum.

Please submit questions by email to Christopher Buckley at cbuckleyAICP@att.net on or before September 20th with “Candidates’ Forum Questions” in the subject line. You may also submit questions by mail to AAPS, P.O. Box 1677, Alameda, CA 94501 or leave a message at 510-479-6489 on or before September 20th.
