Alameda Parent Support: Meet other parents of infants, make friends you and your children may have for years, explore your "new normal" as you navigate the wonderful, always changing, and sometimes overwhelming waters of parenthood.
Our next group starts September 17 and runs through October 22, Mondays 10am-12pm. Topics may include Rituals and Routines, Postpartum Depression vs. Baby Blues, the Transition from Partners to Parents, issues around sleep and self care, or other issues you may wish to discuss in a safe and confidential space. The group will be facilitated by Peggy Hinkle, IBCLC (board certified lactation consultant)/postpartum doula and Susan Ono, Psy.D, Licensed psychologist. An optional home visit or phone consult with a perinatal clinician, a session of
infant massage & a partner gathering are also included. $150 for 6 weeks.
Meets in the Helen Room at Immanuel Lutheran, 1910 Santa Clara. Enter at 1420 Lafayette or through the parking lot on Chestnut Street at Santa Clara.
