Alameda Safety & Accessibility Modification Program

The Alameda Fire Department's Safety and Accessibility Program is a FREE service for low-income residents who are 62 years of age and older or disabled.  The program provides: installation of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, night lights and other fire and fall prevention safety devices.  In addition the service allows for household modification (e.g., grab bars, ramps, etc.).  For more information, call (510) 337-2133.
