Alameda Women Artists, CLOSING RECEPTION, SILENT AUCTION and SALES BOUTIQUE, will be held at the Alameda Museum, 2324 Alameda Ave., on Saturday, September 1, 2012, 1:00-3:00pm.
12 inch by 12 inch artworks donated by AWA Members are being auctioned during the month of August. This is a wonderful way to purchase an original piece of art and help student artists in Alameda.
Proceeds from the Silent Auction will go to the AWA Students Award Program which gives awards to high school students in Alameda that have shown an interest and ability in creating artwork.
