Compost 101 Workshop

Join our resident Master Composter in this hands-on, down and dirty workshop! The base of any great garden is healthy soil and the optimum way to build healthy soil is to amend with compost. Instead of throwing away that so-called trash, learn how to use it to build the best garden you've ever had!

Learn a variety of techniques and styles that can be implemented in any type of space. Please dress appropriately for hands-on work, including closed toe shoes and gardening gloves. Also, please bring any of the following: kitchen scraps (veggie bits, egg shells, coffee grounds, paper towels, etc.), cardboard, newspaper, dry leaves, plant trimmings.
