Le Petit Matisse is a local children's art studio and gallery. They also make wonderful, natural and partially organic art supplies! We will be hosting a studio gallery time for young ones to come and try out the wonderful paints and play doughs! This event is free of charge! Just bring your little (or big!) one by the store, grab one of our smocks and belly up to the easels! Make a masterpiece to take home. We will have kid friendly snacks, and coffee and tea for the parents to enjoy while their littles explore in a world of crafting. This will be an open studio time at Silk Road, come and go as you please, get the chance to meet Eza and ask her some questions and try out the products!
Here is more information on the art supplies created by Le Petit Matisse:
All our products, from our toddler brushes to our modeling clay, are all locally made (most of them by Eza right in our own gluten free kitchen!) using natural, and sometimes organic materials to ensure that our little ones will never touch anything that is toxic or harmful in any way. These ingredients are the same ones you find in your own pantry at home and you can see them listed on the label! Our beautiful natural colors are given to us by mother nature herself in the form of fruits, vegetables, spices and even mineral ochers from quarries in France.
Stop by and meet Eza, another local mom with a wonderful business, and explore a little into the art world! The paints are gorgeous colors, and best of all are lavender scented! Perfect for calming the little spirit down!
"...so many products out there are not only NOT safe for children (specially for the little ones), but also not good to our Mother Earth. This was how our product line was born… Out of a mother’s desire to provide a safe, natural and non-toxic way for her child to explore art while pitching in towards the preservation of our planets resources!"
Bay Area's only Natural & Non-toxic Arts and Craft studio for children ages 1.5 to 10, and coming this fall will be workshops for adults also!
