
Alameda City Manager John Russo will discuss the City of Alameda's budget process this Thursday, 9-29-2011, 7 - 9 p.m., at the Alameda Free Library @ Oak Street and Lincoln Avenue. This free public workshop on "Budget Basics" is cosponsored by the League of Women Voters of Alameda and the Alameda Chamber of Commerce as a service to their community.
Russo will explain the basics of city budgeting and what options the City Council may consider over the coming months to address Alameda's fiscal issues. Russo will also answer audience questions about the budget process.
