Medicare's "Mysteries" Explained At Mastick

Mastick Senior Center will present "Welcome to Medicare: An Overview of Coverage and Options" February 21, at 1 p.m. in Room D of the center.

According to event organizers, a representative from the Health Insurance Counseling Advocacy Program (HICAP) will provide an overview of Medicare coverage and options.

Their presentation will include an overview of the Medicare Program (eligibility, costs, benefits, and recent changes), an explaination of  various options for supplementing Medicare such as Medicare Supplement Plans (Medigap) Medical Advantage Plans and Medi-Cal and information
on Medicare's Prescription Drug benefit.
